*Quality Assurance Analyst* *Location: Atlanta, GA* Rate: $45/hr CTC (Final) Duration: Long Term *Description Duties and responsibilities * Ø Writing the library functions for automation testing in vb script using HP QC UFT automation tool Creating test cases, Requirement Traceability Matrix and end-to-end test plan Executing plans and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected Ø Any solution should be tested in terms of smoke, functionality, performance, regression and compatibility with other legacy and / or external systems Ø Perform backend testing using SQL queries Ø Possess strong problem analysis skills and have the ability to quickly master new concepts Ø Effective Communication and Team Collaboration Ø Clear communicator both written and verbal, to ensure ability to write test plans and test case as well as communicate bugs to developers and other stakeholders Ø Ability to understand and create test documents from specifications or verbal communications Ø Participate in review meetings, analyzing requirements, creating Requirement Traceability Matrix Ø Proactively seek guidance on issues requiring additional clarity or instruction from others. *Skills/Experience Required: * Ø BS or BA degree preferred Ø 8+ years of relevant QA technical experience Ø Expertise in writing vb scripts for Automation (preference for HP UFT) Ø Expertise in database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procs Ø Understanding of business processes and workflow (insurance experience a plus) Ø Understanding of Full SDLC Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced setting Thanks & Regards, *Mohan Ganti* Mail: mohan.ga...@somasoftsol.com *Disclaimer: We respect your Online Privacy.
