The candidates I’ve interviewed so far have been ETL specialists working in large companies. Instead, my optimal candidate will have experience with multiple disciplines within the ETL space (source/target data analyst, data modeler, data architect, business analyst, requirements analyst, and ETL developer) -- perhaps someone who has worked with smaller companies where workers have a more generalist approach and are not so specialized. ** ** The ETL Developer will be responsible to lead and/or participate in the development, support and maintenance of Enterprise Data warehouse as well as analysis, design and implementation of various data integration solutions. In this role, he/she will be expected to possess advance development skills in key technologies articulated below. A candidate for this position must be able to work in a varied, fast paced environment; the individual in this role should ideally possess deep technical skills whereby he/she can provide technical mentorship and leadership to a team of developers. *Job Responsibilities* · Lead the analysis, design, test and technical implementation for of projects related work. · Design, and implement a data integration solution for a specific business and technical needs · Design and build the various ETL components to extract, transformation, and load customer data from source systems into new dental system, and transform the conformed data for use by data consumers · Design and implement scripts that ensure the quality, completeness, and consistency of data in new system, including automated data cleansing and transformation scripts. · Responsible for the development and maintenance of SDLC artifacts related to data integration implementation · Provide reporting of project statuses to project management and leadership. · Responsible for planning and creating release packages of the software and related ETL components · Provide the technical mentorship, guidance and supervisory oversight to a team of developers *Qualifications/Experience* · Minimum of 7 years of overall IT experience · 5 years prior experience focused in ETL design, development, review, and testing · 5 years professional experience Data warehouse environments · 5 years of experience with SAP BODS · 5 years professional development experience in Oracle · Experience in database query optimization .
