*Oracle Applications Developer* *Cuyahoga Falls, OH* *6 months contract* Develop relevant documentation including project plans, functional and technical specifications, test plans and end-user training materials. Data conversion and development of open interfaces for GL, AP, FA, PO, Demantra and ASCP applications. Programming in PL/SQL (SQL, stored procedures, triggers, views), Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Discoverer and XML. *Day-to-day Responsibilities * Identify and analyze business requirements and processes. Recommend and implement technical solutions for addressing business requirements and process reengineering. Provide as needed, production support to business users. Experience with Multi-Currency and Multi-Organization Architectures. Conduct meetings and presentations with end-users and internal IT departments. Effectively interact with multiple organizational levels as well as multiple departments including Finance, Manufacturing and Purchasing. Utilization of the underlying table structures for GL, AP, FA, Purchasing and ASCP. Proficiency in UNIX and Linux scripting. Customizations and Extensions to Oracle Applications. *KEY RELATIONSHIPS:* IT department Director of IT Qualifications *EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:* 10+ year of Oracle Applications Oracle Applications knowledge with emphasis on: GL, AP, FA, CE, Purchasing, Demantra and ASCP is a plus but will train the right individual. Proficiency with programming in PL/SQL (SQL, stored procedures, triggers, views), Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Discoverer and XML is a plus. Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience. Manufacturing or Distribution experience is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and provide deliverables in a timely and efficient manner.
