*Location: Chicago , IL(Locals only)*
*Duration: 6 months*
*Face to face interview*
Candidates should have completed at least five full professional software
engineering projects across multiple platforms and have acquired the
following skillset:
- Comfortable leading a team
- .Net 3.5+ and all related features
- Strong command of essential technologies: C#, ASP.NET, Linq, ADO.NET
Entity Framework, AJAX, .Net MVC 3, XML/XSLT and SQL Server
- Strong command of JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, Prototype), HTML
5/CSS 3 and XHTML
- Thorough understanding of Object-Oriented design patterns and Service
Oriented Architecture (SOA), including technologies such as SOAP, WSDL, WCF
and Web Services
- *Proficient with: *
- a build / deploy framework like NAnt or TFS
- an instrumentation framework like log4net
- .Net code generation capabilities
- *Experience with: *
- code optimization
- memory profiling
- developing solutions involving relational database technologies on
SQL Server platform, stored procedure programming experience
using Transact
SQL
- enterprise development frameworks such as NHibernate, Spring.Net
- developing solutions involving relational database technologies on
SQL Server platform, stored procedure programming experience
using Transact
SQL
- Relational Database modeling and experience creating advanced SQL
queries / procedures
- Comfortable with a fast paced environment, where requirements and
projects can change quickly
- Extensive experience with source code management tools like CVS, SVN ,
Git
*Responsibilities*
- Act as technical lead on .NET engagements with responsibilities that
include technical requirements gathering, design, development, and testing
- Proficient with full life cycle development methodologies (e.g.
Agile/scrum)
- Produce high quality, modular, reusable code that incorporates coding
best practices and serves as an example for less experienced developers
- Accurately report issues and status to project management
- Assist/Mentor junior developers
