*Role: Big data administrator / architect*

*Location: Lombard, IL*

*Duration: 1yr+*



*Need strong Candidate who can able to handle the Hadoop Admin Team*



*Big data administrator / architect Role:*



*Key Deliverables (also consider as skillset and required experience
category)*



·         Hadoop

·         Config DB backup and recovery processes

·         File system (Blob & HDFS) management and monitoring

·         Manage and review Hadoop log files; house keeping

·         Experience with at least one popular Hadoop flavor – Cloudera,
HortonWorks, MapR

·         Installation and Config of Hadoop projects such as Hive, Pig,
HBase, Spark, etc.

·         Performance optimization (MR job and other)

·         Setup performance monitoring & tuning

·         Cloud

·         Solid experience managing & administering cloud platform - Azure,
AWS, BigTable, etc.

·         deploying Big Data solutions in Cloud

·         Cluster install & config

·         Capacity estimation and configure for elasticity

·         Script automation for allocation, deallocation, etc.

·         Establish Big Data Security

·         Data at Rest & Transit

·         Access from backend and front-end applications

·         Row level security & Role based security

·         integration  - LDAP, AD, Okta

·         Ingestion

·         Sqoop, Kakfa, Storm – highly desirable

·         ADF, Informatica Cloud, etc. are definite plus

·         Setup processes for historical and incremental data ingestion

·         Front-end access – Configure connectivity and interfaces enabling
Cognos, Tableau, PowerBI, R, and SAS applications to access Hadoop Big data.

·         Scheduler & Runtime environment – Configure YARN and Oozie  for
optimal resource utilization and end-to-end workflow process.

·         Deploy and configure Neo4J (Graph DB), Document DB and emerging
big data repositories

·         Big data modeling



*Other Required Competencies*

·         Knowledgeable in SQL server DB

·         Aggressive self-starter, can operate without Infrastructure
support

·         IOT experience



*Desirable*

·         Predictive analytics, advanced analytics

·         R, SAS

Catalog Management Tools e.g. Platfora.
