Kindly find the below Job Description and share me your Profile *Role: Unix Administrator * *Location: Bellevue, WA* *Rate: DOE * ***Strong Communications and H1B copy required*** *Job Objective: * Perform the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of networks and computer systems with UNIX and Linux operating systems. Design and deploy server backup architecture and systems. Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex operating system and server hardware issues. Design, deploy and manage automation and centralized management tools such as Oracle Ops Center, HP SIM, Symantec Veritas Operations Manager and Puppet. Perform some programming and script writing. Provide technical and operational support to other departments and teams as required in support of business objectives. Create and maintain procedure and standards documentation. Mentor and assist junior level system administrators. * Enterprise Core Competencies* Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership. *Essential Functions* · Display strong inter-personal, verbal and written communication skills. · Be self-motivated and able to meet objectives with little or no direct supervision · Provide 24 x 7 on call support as part of a scheduled rotation with other team members. · Provide advanced troubleshooting for applications and systems. · Provide senior level technical support for Unix related project activities. · Build and modify systems to meet project and user requirements. · Participate in design and code reviews. · Provide mentoring to fellow administrators. · Evaluate hardware and software requirements and influence purchase decisions. *Qualifications* Desired ·7+ years’ experience in a large RedHat and/or AIX Unix environment · 7+ years’ experience using programming/scripting language (e.g. PERL or shell script) · Ability to install and configure systems and layered software unassisted. · Thorough knowledge of server hardware. · 3+ years experience supporting production environments with 1,000 or more servers · 3+ years experience with volume management software such as Veritas Storage Foundation. · 2+ years server virtualization experience including VmWare and Solaris LDOMs · Understanding of SAN and NAS and how to connect servers to storage · Experience with Oracle Ops Center is a plus · Experience with EMC Storage is a plus · Very strong knowledge of server clustering using VCS · Thorough understanding of well known services and protocols such as NFS, NTP, and DNS. · Demonstrated ability to turn customer requirements into a solid deployable system design. · Be self-motivated and able to meet objectives with little or no direct supervision. · Positive attitude and willingness to be a strong team player on a dynamic and excited team of smart and capable system administrators. · Ability to work on rapidly changing deadlines in a fast paced environment without dropping the ball. *Education* Minimum Required A degree in computer science or equivalent experience desired Thank You, Rajendhar Anugula*, Sr.Technical Recruiter * *Libsys Inc *'*IT Sharps*' Direct 630-687-1146| Office 630-799-1556 | Fax 630-689-5724 [email protected]/ www.LibsysInc.com <http://www.libsysinc.com/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Workflow" group.
