JIRA: years *Description:* Android developers, who’s role will be to oversee our mobile and tablet applications and to support our state of the art tablet console, which will be used as the center point of communications for our customers homes. Through this tablet you’ll work on projects ranging from security features, our “Beyond the Alarm” features, streaming media applications , 2-way communication interfaces, home automation, user experience updates and more. Plus, it’s one of the few jobs where you’ll be building mobile software that interacts with hardware such as sensors, motion detectors, IP cameras, light switches, thermostats and more. *Job Requirements:* 1. 8-10 years in Java development. 2. Expert in Android development. 3. Strong technical knowledge in all areas of Native Android Development, including both Enterprise and published apps. 4. Solid knowledge and experience developing Android SDK and NDK. 5. Expert level understanding of JSON, XML and Web Services. 6. Proficient in streaming media and audio on Android devices. 7. Experience with agile software development practices, tools and source control such as GIT and JIRA. 8. BS in Engineering or Computer Science.
