Migration Test Lead Partner with the assigned managed services technical lead and/or test lead on the Application Image Migration project (migrating Corning’s applications to a new data center) to refine and facilitate the execution of testing activities. Prior test lead experience is required so he/she can help build/execute the test strategy for the project. Lead the definition and execution of the user acceptance testing that Corning is responsible for on the project. Facilitate testing review meetings (progress updates, review outstanding testing defects) with the project team. Knowledge of QC would be helpful but is something the client can train him/her on. Previous experience in coordinating testing on large efforts such as data center moves is required. This is a testing coordination role, not a hands-on testing role. Position involves reaching out to contacts in all of Corning’s businesses to coordinate testing activities. The resource must be comfortable contacting people within the organization and following up as necessary to get the required information. • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills – ability to interact with peers, customers, and management in course of performing function • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple project assignments at a time • Project management skills – ability to manage testing activities for large scale projects • Prior test lead experience in a variety of applications or projects • HP Quality Center knowledge and experience • Knowledge of testing best practices • Training skills – ability to train personnel at all levels • Ability to learn quickly and transfer knowledge to others • Leadership/collaboration skills • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple project assignments at a time Thanks & Regards, Prasad Mamidela | Technical Recruiter | Cigniti Inc.
