*Position: Application Architect II* *Location: Charlotte, NC* *Duration: Contract* *Primary skills*: The primary responsibility of the Application Architect II is understanding current environment and architecting and designing Integration of monitoring apps into Remedy *Secondary :* Develop project plans and monitor the project from design and architecture angle *IT Group: IT RISK SOLUTIONS**The* Enterprise Monitoring Performance Lead is responsible for gathering, analyzing and validating requirements to support the APM (Application Performance Monitoring) Methodology. This team member cooperates with application developers, systems engineers, system administrators, and DBAs to produce and document monitoring schema for network infrastructure, server hardware, OS, applications, and business processes. This team member maintains monitoring documentation. The candidate will work with Business to develop cost estimates; licensing and work effor for new and enhanced monitoring. Work directly with the Implementation Engineers that is to be instrumented by the Integration Engineers. They work closely with Event Management and the OCC (Operations Command Center) to ensure proper alerting and notification are documented in SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures). *Job Description: * Responsibility •The primary responsibility of the Application Architect II is understanding current environment and architecting and designing Integration of monitoring apps into Remedy •Architecting Integration between Remedy (9.1) and monitoring apps •Ability to understand and document current environment, that has no documentation, through meetings and analysis •Consults with end users to test and debug applications to meet client needs. •Serves as expertise in all aspects of designing and application development. •May conduct training to IT Staff. •Responsible for the overall system design of highly complex applications. •Provides mentorship and guidance to Application Architect I •Has an understanding of any APM tool (like CA CEM, Dynatrace, NewRelic) •No development needed but understanding of development (Java) is an asset •Don’t need to know Remedy but integration of these apps to remedy Requirements •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field required. •Master’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field preferred. •5+ years of experience in Application Architecture or related field required.
