As a senior member of the Software Development & Data Solutions team, this
individual will be responsible for leading the analysis, design,
development, implementation and maintenance of new state-of-the-art
eCommerce based solutions required to support and facilitate Philip’s Home
Monitoring growth and business objectives.   In this role you will work in
a collaborative team environment that encourages you to perform at your
best, and challenges you to engineer elegant solutions for complex business
problems.




* MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:*
- Leads back and front end development efforts for project from conception
to implementation.
- Write standards-compliant code including testing/debugging in multiple
browsers and platforms.
- Designs and constructs web pages/sites including incorporating graphic
user interface (GUI) features and other techniques
- Experience gathering functional and non-functional requirements and
performing technical analysis
- Content personalization and content targeting
- Provide technical expertise and ownership of technical solutions.
- Provide thought-leadership to team members and vendors across the
business and technical project dimensions, solving complex business
requirements.
- Participate and contribute as a lead technical programming resource in
both the development and maintenance of Lifeline’s business information
systems. Responsibilities include not only contributions as an individual
contributor, but also as a leader for the analysis, design and development
of business systems.
- Work closely with Architect, Database, Networking, Telecommunications, QA
and Systems Support teams to provide level 3 development support for a
24x7, mission-critical environment.
- Follows appropriate structured software development and project
management controls, methodologies and standards.
- Develop and program enhancements, upgrades and interfaces to support the
ongoing requirements of the business.
- Prepares challenging and realistic estimates of resource requirements
(e.g., effort, skills) needed to accomplish project objectives.
- Participates in the development and execution of unit/integration quality
assurance plans to ensure the system’s ability to meet business
requirements is tested.
- Works with end-users, IT, vendors and other impacted areas to plan and
prepare for implementation and deployment.
- Develops and publishes user and system documentation as required.
- Provides timely and courteous support to IT and business systems users.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to
communicate effectively with system integrators and external solution
providers
- Communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences at all
organizational levels. Conveys highly technical concepts and information in
written form to technical and non-technical audiences
- Train and mentor junior designers and business partners.
