Specific responsibilities will include assisting with user interviews to extract user stories and/or business needs, designing navigational components based content analysis, designing screen layouts based on usability principles, building production art and other elements to improve the aesthetics of the solution, building branding designs, organizing and conducting usability testing, and communicating directly with customers throughout the entire lifecycle of the projects. This position has a U.S. citizenship and bachelor’s degree requirement. *Required:* • Experience with Section 508 Compliance is a must; • Experience with usability principles; • Experience with facilitating conversations with customers to assess their needs; • Experience discussing technical implementations of designs with programmers; • Comfortable working on projects with tight timelines; • Experience developing usability testing materials (e.g. scripts); • Excellent analytical capabilities; • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal); • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; *Preferred:* • Experience designing solutions on a SharePoint platform is recommended; • Experience developing training materials; • Experience with SharePoint branding & customization (masterpages, templates, CSS, javascript); About the Project The candidate will be working onsite (8 hours per day/40 hours per week), alongside a team which consists of a project manager, a business analyst, SharePoint developers, and a tester to provide support for projects.
