ESB QA Dallas, TX 4-6 Months Contract Phone then Skype *ONLY GC/USC* ESB Test Engineer/Web Services for our preferred client in their Dallas, TX location. The qualified candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in three major areas, including: JDBC in Soap UI experience, JSON Standards, and QA Experience in testing Commercial ESB. *Description:* Define the scope of testing needed with focus on Middleware and automation and accountable for consistent output of quality testing artifacts and testing services; adherence to SDLC practices *Responsibilities:* • Perform manual testing of ESB web services and related backend applications and systems. • Create Test Plans outlining test approach and risk mitigation. • Create and document Test Cases based on product requirements. • Execute Test Plans and Test Cases including but not limited to the following types of testing: Functional, Negative, Integration, Regression, Load, & Performance. • Write detailed defect reports and work with development to assist with their troubleshooting, resolution and validation. • Conduct peer review sessions with other members of the Team. • Run automated SOA services tests and report & act on their status. • Maintain the automated SOA services tests to ensure proper execution after a Product change. • Create new automated SOA services tests to reduce the manual regression testing time. • Support release process and perform production site verification testing. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science required. • Experience in using JDBC in Soap UI. • Experience in XSD and XML schema. • Strong knowledge of JSON standards. • Solid understanding of SOAP and RESTful services and how to create test assertions from API specs and other requirements. • Experience with SoapUI Pro, Jmeter, or similar back-end testing tools. • Minimum of 5 years in the QA field in testing commercial Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) web services and supporting backend systems. • Strong Automation and Web Services testing experience of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Enterprise solutions. • Extensive knowledge of STLC, QA methodologies & release process. • Experience with Agile Sprint Management and Bug Tracking solutions such as JIRA, QC/ ALM QC. • Excellent understanding of the architecture tied to web applications (web server, client/server communication, databases, proxy, etc.) • Proficient at creating and executing SQL Queries involving multiple tables, join statements and Stored Procedures. • Familiarity with schema validation and assertion-based testing of SOA services • Familiarity with source & version control tools like GIT, Subversion, TFS, etc. • Minimum of 5 years in the QA field in testing commercial web applications and supporting backend systems. • 3+ years of experience in creating and executing SQL Queries involving multiple tables, join statements and Stored Procedures. • 3+ years of experience with Agile Scrum. • 2+ years of experience scripting automated services tests. • 1+ year programming/scripting experience is a plus (C#, Python, PHP, Java, etc.) • Strong communicator capable of proactively seeking out requirements details and other information needed for creation of test cases and test scripts. *Waiting for your response…* Best Regards *Ravi Nigam* 978-558-4666 Ext. 101 [email protected] *TekNavigators,* *LLC* 8875 Hidden River Parkway Suite 300 Tampa, FL 33637 DISCLAIMER: This message and any attachments are solely for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed and may contain information that is privileged or confidential.
