Role: Business Intelligence Engineer Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 6 months Direct face to face (1 round of interview and offer) Description: SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: § Typical candidates will possess at least 6+ years of relevant experience and a BA/BS degree § Detailed understanding of generally accepted business intelligence methodologies, tools, and techniques § Must have experience in one or more of the following: SQL Server Development (SSIS preferred), Data Warehouse lifecycle including data analysis, data modeling and design using dimensional modeling approach § Experience supporting, troubleshooting, and enhancing data warehouse environments to reinforce processes, meet SLAs, and automate manual task § Comprehensive knowledge of a specific Guggenheim business function and how platforms and products will be used by business partners (not required for new hires—acquired knowledge) § Prefer a working knowledge of the financial services industry and Microsoft .net or Office and experience with reporting and/or ETL tools § SQL Server MCDBA certification or SQL Server experience desirable.
