Senior UI Developer - Angular and Javascript Contract Duration: 6+ months Location: Marlborough and Boston (1-2 days per week) MA Candidates will be asked to take an online technical Test. Please only submit candidates that are available to take the test within 48hrs of submission Keys to the Position: · This position is 80% Development and 20% Systems Analysis · Development component: Java, Javascript, HTML, and Angular JS. Bootstrap would be a plus · SQL skills are a must · Systems Analysis Component: Ability to have an opinion on UI Design and new features that are available when interacting with the team. Needs to be able to do code reviews and requirement analysis. · Understanding of Equity, Fixed income, and/or Derivatives instruments is a plus This role is for an individual that can not only develop intuitive user interfaces for our solutions, but can also advise on and guide the design of the user interfaces, keeping in mind the overall portfolio of tools used by investors. Responsibilities Daily activities for this role will include requirements analysis, application design, hands-on development, and code reviews. · Work closely with the Business Analysts team to understand business problems and create effective technical solutions · Set development standards, code solutions and perform code reviews, where applicable and ensure development practices adhere to firm guidelines · Implement solutions involving (but not limited to) mobile applications, interactive data, investment process efficiency, and simplifying investor work flow.
