Job Summary:



This is a lead position to support the data conversion efforts for our
HEALTHsuite implementation.  This person will work with, coordinate, and at
times lead the data conversion team to develop the conversion files and
assist in data analysis, data mapping and requirements gathering as
necessary.  The position will be responsible for developing the necessary
data conversion code but is also expected to help coordinate the data
conversion work and interface with other functional project teams to ensure
that data conversion needs are met.



This position will be responsible for periodic status and issue reporting
to the IT project leadership.  Would be responsible for SQL development for
creating processes to load source data into a staging area, data
transformation (clean up, consolidate, normalize data across multiple
systems) and create the final conversion ready file.  Would also research,
analyze and resolve conversion related errors in coordination with the Data
Conversion and Business Teams.



·         Good mix of business and technical analytical skills – Must be
able to independently assess impacts to conversion work within the overall
scope of the project. Individual will need to interface with other
resources on the project to plan and coordinate work, timelines
and deliverable.



·         Hands on SQL development – creating tables, writing complex
stored procedures, knowledge of functions used in data manipulations, etc.



·         Extract data from source system data warehouse and transform to
match target system.



·         Can work with file layouts specifications, data dictionaries and
entity relationship diagrams





Skills:



·         Excellent SQL Developer skills – High Mid to Senior level
resource, preferably with Microsoft tool experience  (SSIS, SQL Management
Studio, etc..)



·         Strong data and business analytical skills



·         Prior data conversion experience a big plus  -  ideally has
worked to convert data from one system to another



·         Healthcare Experience highly desirable – Providers, Membership,
Claims  (Experience with Providers/Physician networks is HUGE plus!)



·         Experience with DB2 database a plus



·         Self-starter and independent worker.  Able to research issues and
suggest solutions
