*Duration: **6+ Months* *Requirements:* ü Design logical and physical models across multiple Data Warehouses. ü Partners with Architecture team to define standards for naming, describing, governing, managing enterprise data. ü Organize working sessions with business operations team to understand sources of data and expected output. ü *8+ years proven data or integration architecture experience.* ü *5+ years of experience in database technologies, data design and performance optimization for large OLAP & Data Warehouse solutions.* ü *3+ years of experience working on Teradata; ideally previous experience with Teradata Retail Data Model.* ü *Expert in relational and dimensional structures for large (multi-terabyte) operational, analytical, warehouse and BI systems.* ü *Skilled in data profiling, business domain modeling, logical data modeling, physical relational data modeling and design.* ü *Strong skills in Entity Relationship Modeling (ERWin modeling software preferred).* ü Ability to work in a large, complex business and technical environment. ü *Very good understanding of how Change Data Capture (CDC) can be leveraged efficiently load data into an ODS and data warehouse.* ü Good understanding on when and how to define Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD’s). ü Experience in database loading methods. ü Must Have Expertise in relational and dimensional modeling in OLTP and Data Warehousing environment. Examine new application back end design and recommend corrections if required. ü Ability to prepare mapping documents from source to target system and data dictionaries. ü Responsible for generating data definition language (DDL) used to create the database schema as well as synchronizing models to ensure that database structures match models. ü Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scripts. ü Play a key role during the requirements analysis, source system analysis. Perform in-depth data analysis required for modeling and facilitation skills to engage subject matter experts Participate in development and implementation closely with developers.
