UI Designer Renton, WA Contract – 3-6 months Skype We are looking for a talented UI Designer to create intuitive and easy to use user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into elegant, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. Successful candidates will have demonstrated working in a fast paced, highly detail oriented software development environment using Scrum / Agile development methodologies. *Responsibilities:* • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas • Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards • Sustaining and supporting existing software already in production • Adhering to pre-defined coding standards and contributing to review and enhancement of standards as needed • Practicing Test Driven Development (TDD) *Required Qualifications: * • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with emphasis on Human-Computer interaction • Proven UI experience with proficiency is HTML5, CSS3, Angulas JS, JavaScript, JQuery for rapid prototyping • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction • Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders. • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies • 3-5 years of experience using Object Oriented Programming (OOP) languages • Experience with using coding standards, and employing code review procedures • Experience with producing technical designs and design documentation • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. *Desired Qualifications:* • Experience with Agile Methodology a plus • Experience with test tools / harnesses and related software such as Cucumber, Ruby, Python, Google Test • Knowledge of Boost Standard Template Libraries. *Waiting for your response…* Best Regards *Ravi Nigam* 978-558-4666 Ext. 101 [email protected] *TekNavigators,* *LLC* 8875 Hidden River Parkway Suite 300 Tampa, FL 33637 DISCLAIMER: This message and any attachments are solely for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed and may contain information that is privileged or confidential.
