Our SaaS platforms are designed to serve millions of users who are seeking information and reservations from tens of thousands of hotels offering millions of hotel rooms around the world. Utilizing our proven ability to build and deploy mission critical software for the global travel industry, we are creating the next generation of technology solutions for the hospitality industry including: reservations and distribution, high-volume data acquisition from heterogeneous sources, sophisticated search engines, payment processing, hotel operations, business intelligence, and revenue management. The Hotel platform is an SOA solution delivering a fully centralized reservation system for large hotel chains. New customer needs will require evolution of the platform. Two types of technology are deployed: C++ for the open back end in charge of the core functionality and Java for the portal in charge of the platform administration. As the voice of the customer, the Software Quality Assurance Department must ensure delivery according to plan and agreed quality level to our clients by constantly increasing business knowledge, as well as defining the automated test coverage and ensuring the functional non-regression coverage is as close as possible to customer expectations/requirements. We are hiring QA Lead to manage the Hotel IT QA team and work with our highly skilled product definition and software engineers to deliver innovative and high quality solutions for large hotel chains. *Responsibilities:* • Define and lead the project testing strategy cross teams including internal and external teams • Act as a testing and validation point of contact between internal and external stakeholders • Review requirements, analyze and propose test strategy and test plan • Identify and estimate testing tasks and plan resource assignments • Define and document testing guidelines and processes • Review test coverage with Test Manager, Product Definition team and Development teams • Ensures functional, operational, non-regression testing campaigns are performed by the QA team and transition criteria are satisfied between each phase of the life cycle (Component, Release, Customer acceptance and Pre Production) • Remove impediments and trigger actions so testing can progress • Guarantee application of testing best practices • Work with Test Manager to provide mandatory information about test to all actors • Give visibility on the quality of the solution through dashboard reporting and provide regular status on the key milestones • Support the team in execution of manual tests for each software change as defined in test plan and report any anomalies by filing defects • Ensure defects are filed including application logs, screenshots and steps to reproduce • Chase defect resolution when needed • Report testing progress on a regular base • Ensure effective creation and maintenance of regression test plan and test cases • Ensure effective automated test coverage for the project and ensure automated test execution and stability • Produce and update corresponding software and testing guidelines and documentation • Support teams by reproducing and documenting customer reported issues. *Qualifications:* Bachelor Degree or higher • Must have 8 years professional experience 5 years QA management delivering global or multiple regional projects experience with formal project management methodology • Certified ISTQB is a plus • Leadership, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with proactive customer service skills • Strong analytical skills and very detail oriented • Enjoys testing complex web, enterprise and distributed applications • Enjoys working with a top-notch development team with a solid track record of innovation, quality, and timely deliverables • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, identify, resolve project issues quickly and effectively within a fast-paced environment • Willing to work with our remote offices in Europe and India for test automation and process improvement coordination • Experience with HP Quality Center or Rally Software for Test Cases and Test Campaign Management • Experience with Selenium and SOAP Shooter tools for test automation is a plus • Knowledge of Hotel IT and travel industry and related technologies a plus • Thrives in a professional, team-empowered environment • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in a positive and professional manner, both verbally and in writing • Must be organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to demonstrate resourcefulness and perseverance • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities and mentor/direct others • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals • Excellent written and oral communication skills. *Waiting for your response…* Best Regards *Ravi Nigam* 978-558-4666 Ext. 101 [email protected] *TekNavigators,* *LLC* 8875 Hidden River Parkway Suite 300 Tampa, FL 33637 DISCLAIMER: This message and any attachments are solely for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed and may contain information that is privileged or confidential.
