*Senior UI Developer (Python) Mount Laurel, NJ Long-term contract Client: Comcast Interview: Phone followed by Face-to-Face* *Job Summary:* As the Sr. UI Developer you would be responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications for the team's workflow tool. You would be working with Python scripts to obtain card and port data for all company's network routers. In addition, you would be working on automated financial reports of hardware purchased, needed, received and shipped from the warehouse. If you are interested in being a Sr. UI Developer and have an interest in joining a team that commits to innovation and pushes to be at the forefront of technology, please apply here! *Primary Responsibilities:* - Working with a technical team to create integrations and applications for Deployment Engineering. - Working with clients to determine business requirements - Develop software solutions to fulfill business requirements and customer needs - Communicating regularly with the customer to evaluate satisfaction and proactively identify upcoming needs. - Working in an Agile environment using JIRA. - Identifies and solves complex problem; analyzes the issues and suggests possible solutions - Communicates and escalates issues as necessary. *Core Responsibilities:* - Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements. Conducts system architecture to determine integration needs. - Designs solutions for the customer that meets their business applications and translates complex technical design requirements into information that customers can understand and respond to. - Designs new software and web applications, supports applications under development, and maintain current applications. Assists with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases. - Participates in training representatives and operations staff on internally developed software applications. - Researches, writes and edits documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports. - Provides technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance with regards to practices, procedures and techniques. Serves as a guide and mentor for junior-level Software Developers. - Writes unit tests for applications and code standards for the team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. - Displays in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty. - Displays in-depth knowledge of, and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills.
