Please send me resume at *[email protected] <[email protected]>.* *Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)* *Location: Seattle, WA (Northgate area (North Seattle)* *Type/Duration: (3-6 month)* *Overview:* We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our IT Software Quality Assurance (IT SQA) team. Our SDET plans, develops and implements effective test automation to be used within the software quality assurance lifecycle. The successful candidate will also be able to work cross-collaboratively across different business units and with team members in separate locations. This role partners with the IT SQA Manager in prioritizing automation requests and coverage needs working to develop and implement software quality assurance standards across all areas of our company’s software development. *Responsibilities:* • Development of Test Automation • Leads automation efforts around all testing activities • Develops automation utilizing C#.NET, HP Unified Functional Test framework, .NET, MS SQL and RESTful Web services • Plans, develops and executes automated testing for functional, performance and regression coverage needs • Integrates the HP Quality Center requirements and defect management application into a test automation framework • Develops and implements automation scripts to manipulate objects and/or controls of the application under test • Conducts database testing using queries as well as experience using tracking software to document defects and results • Utilizes SQL toolset for data verification • Uses knowledge of design processes and software development life cycle (e.g. Agile and Test Driven Design collaboration) in order to ensure effective testing • Creates test plans that cover the entire development cycle • Leads regular validation and updating the existing test automation framework. Partnership with IT • Partners with software developers and test analysts to identify options for test automation to be most effective within the applications • Trains others as needed to understand, maintain and use the automation framework • Provides direction to others in IT on using a modular approach to create automation scripts based on function/logic as well as developing common library functions *Monitoring & Forecasting* • Forecasts and assesses risks associated with testing at a project and/or maintenance level • Documents test automation results, impacts and issues • Communicates monitoring and forecasting findings to testing stakeholders • Reports test automation progress to management *EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE* • 5+ years of strong QA testing experience is required • Thorough knowledge of software development life cycle principles and QA methodologies. • Experience testing SOA, Services, ESBs, APIs and EDI is a plus. • Functional Automation via UI necessary • Comfortable in both a traditional waterfall and an agile/iterative development environments • Communicates effectively to ensure that all testing needs are being assessed and addressed in order to ensure that products meet or exceed delivery expectations/performance targets • Proactive and flexible approach • Able to manage change and work in a dynamic IT environment *Other Compensation and Benefits upon conversion:* • 15 days PTO and 12 days sick leave • 8% 401K match • 25% target bonus -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Workflow" group.
