Urgent Requirement
*Position: Manual Tester with POS (Point of Sale) *
*Location: Jacksonville, FL*
*Duration: 8-9 months*
*Skills needed:*
· 5+ years’ experience in Manual Testing (functional, Smoke,
Regression and POS)
· *MUST have testing experience with any Point of Sales (POS)
application*
· Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and other QA
standards and procedures.
· Working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile/Scrum software
methodologies
· Hands-on experience with Unit, System and Regression testing
· Expertise in database testing in Microsoft SQL Server
environments including designing manipulating test data, validating stored
procedures, jobs, triggers and replication
· Ability to document, analyze, track defects and communicate
testing results
· Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office environment
including the ability to use a wide variety of software such as Word, MS
Excel and MS Project
· Prior knowledge of retail stores systems and applications.
· Skilled in HP Quality Center application.
· Develops test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple
projects of vary size
· Validates that user expectations are achieved during the testing
process
· Reviews user requirements documents to ensure that requirement
are testable
· Documents and reports system defects to the appropriate teams
· Develops scripts for regression testing
· Identifies risks relative to testing and implementation for
evaluation by affected teams and management
· Excellent communications skills
· Experience with automated testing and load/performance testing
tools is a huge plus
