*Please respond with Resume & Contact details of the consultant to: [email protected] <[email protected]> ASAP* *Position: Sr. Infrastructure Engineer* *Location: Dallas, TX* *Duration: 12+ months contract* *Must Have- * *CA Siteminder- 2 Yrs. * *DNS- 2 Yrs. * *F5 Load Balancing- 2 Yrs. * *Perl- 5 Yrs. * *Puppet- 2 Yrs. * *Shell Scripting- 5 Yrs. * *Solaris- 3 Yrs.* * Solaris 10- 3 Yrs.* *Job Requirements: * • Recommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the systems including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management • Knowledge and hands on experience with FTP and secure FTP • Knowledge and hands on experience with DNS, name services and general networking configurations • SNMP knowledge in respect to setting up monitoring and alerting for Unix/Linux systems • Shell and Perl scripting capability • System performance and capacity planning • Works under minimal direction and independently determine and develop approach to solutions • Tests new release levels of existing products to insure compatibility and minimize user impact • Advanced knowledge of Solaris 10/11 virtualization methods • Knowledge of Siteminder (SSO) & BigIP (load balancing) is preferred • Knowledge in VMWare Hypervisor 5.x • Experience in Puppet Labs/Automation • Supporting applications/DB like SAP/Oracle The ideal candidate will have: • 7 years’ experience with Oracle/Sun servers • 7 years’ experience with Solaris 10/11 administration • 5 years’ experience with LDOM/Zones/Containers • 5 years’ experience with setting up and supporting clustering software (i.e. VCS or Oracle) • 5 years LINUX (RHEL 5/6) experience 5 years with Unix/Linux scripting • 5 years’ experience in setting up new enterprise level environment (not operational support) • 5 years’ experience supporting Middleware software such as Websphere or Weblogic • 3 years’ experience with ZFS filesystems • 3 years’ experience with Solaris Volume Manager *Education * B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent required.
