Sr. UI Developer
We are seeking a Sr. UI Developer (AngularJS) for our client site in
Austin, TX. We are looking for highly motivated professional who enjoys
working in a fast paced, agile development environment. This individual
will be working closely with product owners, web developers, and UX
designers to create innovative UIs. The individual will be responsible for
developing a best-in-class user-focused solution leveraging the latest in
web development technology.
*Responsibilities*
Develop graphically rich application UIs
Lead UI Development effort
Act as mentor to junior level developers
Participate in user testing sessions
Work closely with product owners and UX designers to collect
requirements and verify design feasibility
Research UI design and development techniques to find innovative and
elegant solutions to complex UI problems
Design and implement unit, component, and system tests in coordination
with QA and other developers to ensure quality
*Qualifications*
Advanced JavaScript
Experience with a JavaScript MVC framework AngularJS
AJAX and OOD/OOP (prototype, class design, etc.),
Experience with a JavaScript templating system (Handlebars, Mustache,
Dust, etc.)
Experience with Javascript libraries (jQuery, Underscore, jQuery
plugins)
Use of CSS Precompilers (LESS, SAAS)
Experience with CSS libraries such as Bootstrap, Foundation and Font
Awesome
Developing JavaScript client applications leveraging back-end services
over HTTP/JSON APIs.
Experience with build tools such as Grunt and package managers such as
npm.
Knowledge of optimizing HTML, CSS and JS with an eye toward decreasing
load time, reducing network calls and optimizing for size
Effective teamwork and good communication skills with the ability to
mentor peers and provide peer code-reviews.
Ability to work effectively with software engineers in test to enhance
test plans and automated testing framework.
Experience in an Agile development environment
Understands Pros/Cons of client-side caching and edge caching
Easily adapts and learns new things whether it's a new library,
framework, process or a visual design concept
Experience developing complex enterprise/productivity applications a
plus
