*Key Roles & Responsibilities :*
• Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding
limitations, procedures for
• accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of
available resources to various phases of projects
• Establishes work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing for each
phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project
personnel
• Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign
duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
• Manages all phases of project development and implementation by
ensuring that business deliverables are completely satisfied, on time and
within budget
• Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies
schedules or plans as required
• Prepares project reports for management, client, or others
• Confers with project personnel to provide technical and function
advice to resolve problems
• Communicates on assigned project deliverables to keep management
apprised of project status, major issues, scope changes, resource changes
and milestone achievements or misses
• Facilitates regular project meetings and follows up with team
members as required to focus on business, operational, or technical issues
• Meets with end-users and technical specialists to develop and
execute project plans for all tasks related to the launch of a new product
or program
• Provides consultation and assistance to end-users and department
personnel in the development of solutions and project plans
• Translates strategic needs of CLIENT into executable department
programs and projects
*Qualifications:*
*Desired Skills and Experience *
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science or equivalent
experience
• *Healthcare experience is Required *
• 10+ years’ experience in information technology
• *3+ years of hands-on application development experience in a
corporate IT environment *
• *2+ years of systems analysis experience *
• *5+ years as a PM with projects exceeding 10 resources and 5,000
man-hours *
• Strong SDLC background/knowledge
• *CMM/CMMI framework knowledge and operating experience is
strongly preferred *
• Experience running multiple enterprise class projects, managing
hours and dollars
• Strong technical background, with all technology disciplines
• Extensive experience with enterprise PM tools (Project Server,
PlanView, Clarity, etc)
• In-depth working knowledge of MS Office suite
• *EDI experience with 834 and 820 transactions is strongly
preferred *
• *PMP certification is a plus *
• Polished, professional presentation and excellent written and
verbal communication skills
