*Job Title: Quality Assurance Tester*

*Location: Atlanta, GA*

*Duration: 6 Months plus*



*Roles and responsibilities:                  *

·         Perform Quality Assurance on software developed by the teams
located in different geographical locations.

·         Comprehensive knowledge on test plans and script execution and
complex test cases, perform actual manual testing, and debug and/or
troubleshoot defects and/or errors.

·         Extensive knowledge on manual testing, defect resolution and
trouble shooting. Provide detailed test reports and metrics in software
and/or hardware POS platforms.

·         Maintain excellent communication and relationship with various
stake holders of the project.

·         Fully understand business implications of ongoing projects and
take pro-active steps to ensure business objectives are not affected due to
project challenges.

·         Ability to provide necessary commitment to meet the deadline and
be accountable for deadlines.

·         Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related
technical field. Excellent knowledge of QA practices and Software
Engineering Processes.

·         Good knowledge and Experience in database is a must, *SQL Server
or Oracle is preferable.*

·         Candidates with knowledge on *ISO 8583 protocol and EMV stan*dards
would be preferred.

·         Experience working in complex solutions involving client server
architecture is a must.

·         Ability to Debug and/or troubleshoot defects and/or errors.

·         Ability to understand complex software modules/system and
excellent communication skills – ability to work in cross cultural
environment.

·         Experience in payments / POS solutions is an added advantage.

·         Payment industry background.

·         Knowledge in basic UNIX and DOS commands, and any scripting
language would be an added advantage.



*Essential skills:
                                *

·         Should have handled / directly managed a team size of minimum
20-30 people across test skill sets (automation, manual, Performance test
etc.) at offshore and onshore

·         Should have excellent people and customer handling skills

·         Should have worked on *Pre Sales, Sales initiatives.*

·         Should be a strong player in *Transition, contract management*

·         Knowledge of Industry and HCL quality standards

·         Should have experience on *Payment GWs, terminal or device
testing*

·         Excellent communication skills



*Desirable skills:                          *

·         PMP

·         PCI / CMMi Process
