This is for my direct client opening for *Power Electronics Engineers - Linthicum, MD*. This is a *3 Months Contract* position. The Hourly rate is * DOE*. *Project Description*: -Perform as a technical contributor on a major program involving power electronics system and detailed design. -Must be able to make overall system architecture tradeoffs and decisions, as well as perform detailed power electronics design – including selection of switching components, loss calculations, cooling system design, magnetics design, and simulation. -Must be well versed in inverter design for 440VAC systems. -Experience with other power conversion electronics, including DC/DC converters, motor drives, and AC/DC active rectifiers is a plus. -Power levels are in the 10s of kilowatts to megawatts. * Work Experience/Requirements:* -Proficiency in MatLab, Simulink. -Minimum of BSEE in power electronics.
