This is for my direct client opening for *Active Directory Domain
Administrator - Vernon Hills, IL*.* *This is a 6+ month's contract position.

*Active Directory Global Domain Administrator*
The Active Directory Global Domain Administrator provides strategic
leadership in designing, building, and maintaining the Global Active
Directory environment. The Active Directory Domain Administrator is
responsible for the administrative components of the domain and all child
sub-domains.
This position provides technical expertise in designing, delivering, and
supporting solutions for complex business requirements. Requires the ability
to work effectively on independent projects, as well as in cooperation with
a variety of customers and technical professionals.

*Qualifications**:*
· 3+ years experience in managing corporate Directory Services
· Familiar with best practice Active Directory design and
operations.
· Experience in business process engineering
· Microsoft Operations Manager & entry level SQL experience require.
· HP CIM experience.
· Understanding of Citrix a plus
· Strong analytical, influencing, negotiation, communication,
interpersonal and project management skills
· Ability to lead and/or work effectively on cross-functional teams
· Ability to independently apply advanced problem solving techniques
· Advanced understanding of validated or quality systems
· Excellent judgment
· In-depth knowledge of industry direction and impact of that
direction on business environment
· Advanced proficiency in multiple strategic technologies
· Broad technical knowledge of several system environments
· Previous experience in a 7x24 IT production environment
· Creativity in addressing technical challenges
· Ability to understand and assist in evolution and/or integration
of our applications.
· Global mind set
· Maturity to accept direction and the confidence to give direction
*Education**:*
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or
equivalent experience preferred, including 7+ years in a technical
environment, with experience as the senior technical resource.
· Microsoft Certified System Engineer 2003 with a minimum of 2 years
working with global Active Directory deployments.

Specific Qualifications Required (specialized skills, degrees,
certification, etc.)
1 – *Directory Service infrastructure administration* (Active Directory
2003/2008 management, advance Group Policy skills, Exchange experience -> *
preferred*)
-Understanding of corporate Directory Servicer infrastructures
and methodologies of service delivery concepts (ITIL)
-Third level corporate AD support
2 - *Scripting knowledge and experience.* (PowerShell, VBScript, etc.)
-Experience with writing scripts which parse through simple text
files and xml files. Looking for specific strings, etc.
-Ping scripting, determining if a machine is online/offline.
-Service scripting, determining the state of a windows service.
