Job Description: Database Administrator _____________________________________________________________ ******Experience with new KnowledgePoint360 database systems. is MUST**** _____________________________________________________________ Job Description: The Database Administrator position has the primary responsibility of designing, developing and maintaining both existing and new KnowledgePoint360 database systems. Responsibilities include performing analysis of existing systems, administration of SQL Server environments, designing new data structures and working with existing IT team to implement the new solutions. Responsibilities • Work directly with the Database Architect and development team to fulfill business requirements. • Evaluate existing systems and propose new solutions and system enhancements. • Administer to multiple SQL Server environments including production. • Ensure that deliverables are produced within the planned budget and timeframe. • Production Support including backup/recovery, log shipping, uptime, deployments Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years experience with MSSQL Server including 2000/2005 • SQL Server 2008 experience a plus • Understanding of database design including: o Normal Forms o Indexing o Stored Procedure development o ANSI SQL o Functions • Database Administration including o Performance Tuning/Troubleshooting o Backup o Recovery o Log Shipping • Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills for working out system requirements with IT and business users. • Strong knowledge of SSIS • Working knowledge of SSAS • Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science or related experience. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP XApps Training/Jobs in Chennai/Bangalore -(0)9444359629" group.
