********IMMEDIATE NEED *********** *Job title: Associate Technical Manager - Technical Consultants Advanced Metering Infrastructure* Location: Spokne, Washington Buy rate: $37 hr all inclusive Number of positions: 2 Start date: 10th May 2010 *Duration: 3 months Contract – hire* Job description: 1. Implement, monitor, upgrade, test, troubleshoot, repair and support onsite technical systems/solutions for OpenWay projects. a. Consult with customer to plan layout of equipment required for implementation b. Monitor system daily to ensure correct operation, identify problems or trends that need addressing c. Perform troubleshooting/debugging at component as well as system level d. Inspect malfunctioning or damaged product to determine nature and scope of problem e. Analyze data to recommend corrective action f. Conduct product testing; develop scenario testing 2. Recommend modifications and eliminate future problems for implementation/solutions 3. Proactively manage issues and risks including issues/risk identification, response planning, escalation, etc. 4. Learn appropriate field tools (Field Pro, the client Project Tracking and Reporting tool (PTR) and Endpoint-Link Pro (EPLP) 5. Provide a communication link between the customer and the company to ensure effective service is provided and resolve issues quickly. When appropriate, present solutions to customers. 6. Conduct training on the installation, maintenance and safe operations of the solution 7. Communicate both written and verbal activities with customers and the client Project Managers to meet specified project deadlines; employ effective interpersonal communication 8. Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio Skills required: Experience—minimum of 5 years of related experience with Bachelor's degree in related field systems Experience in integration of Integration of the client software with other information systems such as the customer information system (CIS), meter collection system, and geographic information systems (GIS). including Good knowledge of computer software deployment, operating systems, databases, .NET applications, integration, and network communications Experience in implementing and integrating large, complex systems Utility Experience: SCADA and/or metering experience a plus (Windows Operating systems experience and/or UNIX will be a plus) Database Software: Oracle, SQL Development Software: C#, .Net Java Internet Software: ASP, HTML, PowerPoint Microsoft Office: Outlook, MS Project, Visio * * Thanks!!
