Duties will include supporting DB2 subsystems; installing and supporting DB2 tools (Admin tool, CQM, Log Analyzer); creating and applying DDL and SQL performance tuning. Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience in a large corporate environment supporting DB2 z/OS, be customer focused, and team oriented. Excellent writing and communication skills are required. Experience with other database management systems preferred but not required. Required skills DB2 z/OS database administration (5 year minimum) DB2 tools (Admin tool, CQM, Log Analyzer) Excellent communication and listening skills Excellent writing skills Minimum of 5 years experience in the IT industry Excellent customer service skills TSO ISPF dialogue SMPE REXX SAS The successful candidate will become a member of the Database team within NS IT.
