Client is looking for a *J2EE **Web Services Software Engineer. *This is a 3-6 months contract in *Cupertino, CA*. Face to Face is required so locals preferred. Qualifications: * BSCS or BSEE required; MSCS preferred * Minimum 8+ years of experience in software development in a Unix/Linux applications environment * Experience developing enterprise class server-side applications and web based applications in a J2EE environment * Experience with J2EE,JSP , database abstraction layers, configuration management tools * Experience with JSP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript is essential. Knowledge of JQuery is preferable. * Experience with network programming, including sockets, TCP/IP, UDP and related networking protocols. * Experience with Web Services and related protocols.
