Displays core job competencies by preparing technical specifications, developing and unit testing code and analyzing test. Works with Business Process Analysts to perform analysis of trouble tickets reported by users and develops appropriate solutions. *Duties: * 1. Partner with Business Process Analysts to perform analysis on user tickets, seeking more information from the user where necessary. Identify the cause of the issue and initiate action to redress in accordance with IPS Standards, Policies and Procedures. 1. Gather and document Technical Specifications, using SAP Solution Manager, for system enhancements as approved by management. Analyze the functional requirements, seeking clarifications where necessary. Propose solutions and indentify alternatives that conform to the goals and objectives of the department. 1. Develop HR, PY and TL ABAP programs using various SAP development tools (including BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Function Modules) in support of problem ticket resolution and Change Management tickets, ensuring activities are thoroughly documented and the documentation is filed properly. Liaise with business process analysts and other associated parties that may be required to affect the solution or that may be impacted by the solution. 1. Establish priorities for the completion of assigned tasks and assist less experienced team members in establishing their priorities. 1.
