Testing Specialist II - Test Cases, Test Scripts, HP Quality Center, SQL,
Software Quality Assurance, Application Testing, System Testing, Healthcare
Insurance, XML Schema, HIPAA
Rate-$35/hr
**Must have experience with 5010 transactions. Pharmacy claims is preferred**
Job duties include but are not limited to:
*Create test deliverables and perform testing for internally developed or
external purchased products
*Perform static, functional, technical integration, end-to-end and User
Acceptance Testing
*Execute job streams for creating test beds, assigning test scenarios, writing
test scripts and tracking defects to certify that applications meet technical
and business requirements
*Analyze and make specific recommendations on improvements that can be
integrated into business processes *Participate in reviews throughout the
development life cycle
*Facilitate User Acceptance Testing by providing the necessary support to the
business users
*Generate status reports on the progress of testing
*Produce various testing artifacts including test approach, test data strategy
and final test evaluation summary documents
*Compose and execute complex data queries.
*3 or more years of systems testing experience
*Very strong skills to extract data utilizing SQL (Oracle and DB2)
*Proven working knowledge of all 83x 5010 transactions
*Working knowledge of pharmacy claims preferred
*Minimum of 2 years working knowledge within the healthcare insurance industry
required
*Knowledge of workflows, and business and technical requirements
*Experience with user acceptance testing, functional and regression testing
techniques
*Ability to work closely with development and business partners
*Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
*Strong working knowledge of HP Quality Center (ALM)
*Experience with use cases and use case realizations to develop test plans and
scripts
*Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle processes and procedures
*Knowledge of defect management processes
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Ability to quickly learn new appications and work on multiple projects
concurrently
*PC Skills *Technical Knowledge preferred: .net programming or QTP, IBM Data
Studio; SOAP WMB; TOAD; triggers/stored procedures; logical/physical data model
and entity relationships; Ultra Edit; XML
*Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
