General Description of Duties (What will associate do?): . Design and develop new applications and modify current systems . Support applications, including troubleshooting, analysis, tuning, optimization, and ad hoc workarounds for production applications and reporting projects . Work with Business Analysts to gather requirements from clients and end-users . Unit test and participate in QA test planning including load and regression testing . Document applications and systems and participate in design and code reviews Technical Skills required (please note required proficiency level): . 5+ years experience in SQL Server 2005/2008 and T-SQL Programming required . 2+ years experience in .NET programming skills . Strong experience writing and maintaining web services in .Net or an equivalent object oriented language . Excellent experience creating DTS and SSIS packages . Excellent experience in designing databases schemas . Strong ability to review, analyze, and re-engineer complex stored procedures and .Net code to increase speed and performance . Experience with SQL Reporting Services and Crystal Reports . Excellent data analysis and data manipulation skills . Any general knowledge of Healthcare is a plus . Experience with data transformations and EDI is a plus Other Qualifications: . Excellent logical and analytical programming skills, demonstrated ability to find pro-active solutions . Excellent troubleshooting skills and critical thinking skills . Strong technology skills and understanding, with the ability to adapt to multiple platforms . Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively with managers, end-users, and technical staff . Experience with full SDLC, including application definition, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance . Proficiency in documentation, particularly design specifications & process flow diagrams . Experience with project time estimates Education Requirements: B.S.
