Responsibilities:
The Database Administrator is the creator, implementer, and maintainer of
Database solutions.
Build quality into a product, is able to provide technical support, and
is able to coordinate effectively with an outsourced development team and/or
outside technology vendor.
Qualifications:
. Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
. Experience with SQL Server database administration.
. Experience in Database backup and recovery best practices
. SQL Tuning Expert
. Experience with on call 24 x 7 production pager rotation duties
Preferred:
. Experience with Data Modeling
. Demonstrate expertise in more than one Database Management System.
. Experience with Database related technologies, such as:
. Windows Operating System
. SAN Storage
. IT Retail Experience
. Certification on a Database platform.
