KEY SKILLS: Needs experience with Stored Procedures experience, DB Design and development Position: Database Developer/Development DBA (DB2) Location: Tampa, FL Duration: 6 months (extensions very possible) Primary Job Responsibilities: . Must have a minimum of 10 years of software development and support experience. . Strong software engineering discipline and daily hands-on software development for distributed and high volume transaction processing systems . Provide technical leadership to a small team of developers . Must be able to work with changing requirements . Flexible with traveling and be able to work with minimal requirement . Develop high quality software that is well tested and confirms to user requirements Key components the client seeks: (in-depth of knowledge required in each) . On-time delivery experience . Hands on experience with DB2 stored procedures (advanced to expert) . DB schema design (advanced to expert); data warehouse design would be an added benefit . Database / DB2 tuning (advanced) . DB2 administration / tuning / deployment Additional nice-to-have skills. . Knowledge of Java/Spring is a plus . Java workflow and workflow rules is a plus . Examples are Drools Workflow / Drools (advanced) is a plus . Report formatting .
