Please help me with this new very hot order *JAVA/J2EE Developer (NO H1B)* *This is 6 months CONTRACT TO HIRE POSITION** * *Cincinnati, OH* Responsibilities: - Designs, develops, tests, debugs, maintains and documents shared web services, software components, and utilities. - Provides expert technical advice and counsel to management and defines the technical direction to be followed. - Demonstrates leadership skills. - Collaborates with end users (internal / external) on development of requirements and design of applications. - Participates in the development of software development standards. - Adheres to standards for software development. - Employs software engineering techniques to perform software development work. - Develops time estimates for project deliverables. - Assists in prototyping the integration of candidate technologies with existing technology. - Designs and builds elements of integrated systems. *Experience:* - 7-9 years object-oriented design and development of n-tier applications experience in multiple languages and related technologies (JAVA/J2EE, Web Services) - Firm understanding of Software Architecture, Design Patterns, and Middleware - Firm understanding of Web Service concepts, WSDL, XSD, XML. - 2+ years experience with Spring and Hibernate - Solid database skills including data modeling, ability to write SQL and procedures - 5+ years working with Internet technologies (HTML/HTTP, LDAP, XML, TCP/IP, XSLT) - Working knowledge of SOA - 4+ years user-level UNIX, Win2k Skills: - Technical Leadership and mentoring. - Hands-on knowledge of and experience with Internet technologies. - Excellent written and communications skills (technical documentation). - Ability to quickly develop prototype or conceptual systems based upon high-level requirements. - Must be self-motivated and take initiative. - Customer-service oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. - Strong organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines.
