Job Title : Jr. SAP Database Management Consultant. Location : Peoria, IL Duration : 6+Months Contract *Skills and Competencies:* · Experience with SAP in product data management roles, including bills of material, material masters, drawings, lists, Source Lists, Vendor Master, etc. · Ability to provide maintenance and manipulation of document information records in SAP. · High level of competency in Microsoft Access and Microsoft Office suite. · Ability to create and maintain informational databases and reports using these tools. · Experience in bill of materials and product structure. · Ability to collaborate with peers and customers to gain cooperation and/or conduct presentations of technical information project activities. · Professional demeanor with ability to resolve a wide range of issues in creative and effective ways. *Major Job Duties:* · Collects and analyzes data to support Purchasing master data quality. · Organizes information into useable, actionable reports for use by Source to Pay organization. · Interfaces with several business, operations and engineering services to insure coordination of data across functional lines. · Works with a large amount of data that must be organized in an understandable format. · Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. · Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, generally instructions on new assignments. *Facilitator/Translator:* · Translating the Business needs to Technical requirements. – · Someone familiar with usecases approach and BOBj/Datawarehouse – · Collaborating with appropriate business units, and developers on requirements gathering – · Facilitating and participating in functional Reqs and Gap analysis sessions – · Excellent written and verbal communication skills – · Strong interpersonal skills – · SAP BW and BOBj Knowledge – · Data warehousing Knowledge – MUST Have: Worked as Business Analyst for SAP/BOBJ Reporting related projects Summary: Responsible for working with end users on the SAP application's integration and functionality; determine those technology inadequacies and /or deficiencies that can affect the functional area's ability to support or meet the organizational goals as well as lead enterprise applications integration efforts and oversee the validation of the associated work products.
