*Position : Network Engineer Location: Northbrook IL Duration: 6+ Months* ** *Job Description:* LAN – Cisco 3560, 37xx, and 6500 switches, F5 Load Balancers. · LAN Wireless – Cisco 5500 controller and 3500 WAPS · WAN – Cisco Routers (Verizon) and Riverbed WAN accelerators · Security – Cisco ASA firewalls, IDS/IPS, and 3030 Concentrators for VPN · Telephony – Cisco Call manager, Unit, call center and e911 · Video Conferencing – In Conference room Polycom site to site systems. In Laptops the use of Cisco’s WebEx * Responsibilities / Activities* Network Access · Conduct weekly operational meeting with Vendors and update meeting logs (Capgemini, Verizon, AT&T, AVI) · Follow up any outstanding tasks · Review log reports and open support tickets for medium and high findings provided by Capgemini. (Core switches, Load Balancers, WAN accelerators, Wireless Controller, VPN concentrator). · Review network documentation to insure accuracy.
