It is an Oracle web form based application that uses an Oracle 11G DB as the back end. It provides a holistic view of the clients and sites (including facilities) that DEP regulates. In addition it tracks the various functions that support DEP regulations such as compliance activities, bonding, fees, certifications, authorizations/licenses/permits, etc. eFACTS is a complex system encompassing thousands of business rules. There are over 2000 users from all facets of the department, plus several external users. It provides for basic data entry roles, application processors, compliance specialist, bonding, certification, etc. The eFACTS system has over 140 Oracle Forms, over 2500 tables in its main schema, and over a thousand other tables, views indexes for interfacing with integrated systems. These individuals will be utilized to support the existing system, implement enhancements for the various program areas, assist in upgrades and architectural changes, and provide mentoring and support to DEP staff.
