Job Title: Lead SSRS DeveloperLocation: Burlington, NCLength: 2-4+ monthsInterview: Phone* * Job Description:* Interacts with end users to ensure tight fit between business intelligence environment and business requirements. Designs, creates and manages reports and report definitions. Creates and delivers end-user training and documentation and provides support to other users who develop reports on behalf of their departmental colleagues. Provides repository of best practices on how to use SQL Server SSRS for: Dashboards and drilldown Tabular reports Develop dashboards and reports based on user requirements. Work hand in hand with business owners and other systems developers in support of business intelligence solutions as part of the enterprise systems architecture Develop and maintain documents for requirements, design, implementation, and maintenance of the information systems tools and technology Work with the Enterprise Business Intelligence Team in support of development or enhancement of information systems solutions as needed. Install and configure all components of SQL Server 2012 based upon best practices and client requirements. *Required skills:* • Ability to communicate with executive level clients and positively contribute to client decision making processes about business intelligence strategy. • Experience in developing data warehouse objects, reports, dashboards and scorecards using SQL Server 2012 Reporting Services (SSRS). Experience implementing drilldown capability. • Ability to describe best practices for data warehouse design • Experience optimizing performance of a data warehouse • Experience performing data warehouse development • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft best practices for design and development of Business Intelligence systems • Experience working with business users to gather requirements and translate to technical designs. • Ability to describe ROLAP, OLAP, and MOLAP. • Strong knowledge of SQL. *Preferred skills:* • Experience providing training • Experience using SQL Server to report from other data sources (ex.
