*Sharepoint Developer* *Location: Lansing, MI* *Duration: 2 Years * *Rate : $45/hr* *JOB DESCRIPTION* The SharePoint Developer is responsible for developing customized solutions for SharePoint 2010 which have been tailored to the specific needs of Amway internal customers. The developer translates customer needs into effective technical solutions using SharePoint 2010. The developer will build custom web parts, master pages, page layouts, and application pages using Visual Studio, ASP.NET, and the SharePoint API. The developer will suggest and develop solutions to business problems and/or processes that leverage SharePoint 2010 technology to provide efficiency improvements, and better user experiences. The developer will be responsible for writing documentation for requirements analysis, technical design specifications, and testing plans. Participates providing time and resource estimates. The developer must be proficient in CSS, HTML, jquery, the SharePoint Object Model, C#, TFS, XML, XSLT, XSL, and the .NET Framework. " The SharePoint Developer is responsible for gathering customer requirements, creating, and deploying customized solutions for SharePoint which have been tailored to the specific needs of Amway internal customers. The developer translates customer needs into effective technical solutions using SharePoint 2007 (MOSS) out of the box technologies in addition to developed code when necessary. Assists in analyzing client processes and/or challenges through conducting needs analysis and recommending the most effective, cost conscious solution. The work is upgrading a package called ASITE from Sharepoint 2007 to 2013. Sharepoint 2013 experience-huge plus! Suggests and develops solutions to business problems and/or processes that leverage SharePoint 2007/ASP.NET technology to provide efficiency improvements, and better user experiences. Trains end-users on the developed solution. Writes documentation for requirements analysis, design specifications, user's guides, installation guides, custom training materials, project plans, etc. Participates providing time and resource estimates. Skills Inventory (RESPOND TO ALL LISTED below both required and preferred. If they do not have the Skill, put a "O" next to years of experience. *Required Skills:* Over 5 years of experience in software industry in the following disciplines: ASP.NET developer skills (C#, VB.net, Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, etc.). Experience implementing CSS/HTML into SharePoint. Experience implementing SharePoint 2007 customized and out of the box solutions for multiple clients in diverse environments. Some database developer skills (SQL Server 2000/2005) preferred.
