Our Client is in Urgent* Need for SQL Server DBA with peopleSoft experience*. This is a Long Term Contract position in Nashville, TN. Title: SQL Server DBA with peopleSoft location: Nashville, TN Start: ASAP Duration:Long Term *Rate: 40-45/hr for the right Candidate* *SQL Server DBA with peopleSoft experience.* Requirements: MUST have experience with the following: *People Soft Experince* Microsoft SQL Server 2005 DBA and programming Experience. Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles and practices. SQL Procedures and triggers development. Ability to work effectively with end-users, understand their technical and operational needs and translate them into viable technical solutions and training. Superior verbal and written skills, encompassing complete understanding on the English language with exceptional communications skills. Microsoft SQL Server certification. Nice to have skills: PeopleTools: PIA, Application Designer, Data Mover, Upgrade Assistant and Configuration Manager. Weblogic and Tuxedo Experience. Cognos multidimensional cubes development and administration Job Summary: Successful Candidate will be responsible for supporting PeopleSoft and other applications on Microsoft SQL Server 2005 platform. In addition, the position will be responsible for the installation, monitoring, maintenance, and performance tuning of SQL Server based applications. Develop SQL Server 2005 Stored Procedures and triggers. Education AND Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a technology related field is preferred NOT required. At least four (4) years of related experience is required.
