Bachelor's Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering. Master's Degree is a plus. . 5+ years of Software development, debugging and testing experience on embedded systems. . Must have strong C programming skills. Assembly language is a plus. . Must have working knowledge of embedded software, operating systems, interrupt handling and communication drivers. . Ability to use Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, debuggers. . Basic ability to read schematics. . Ability to work in a team environment Additional skills desired . Experience developing in a pre-emptive multi-tasking environment, with knowledge of related key issues in CPU Utilization, Memory Management. . Experience with configuration management and version control tools (e.g. ClearCase, ClearQuest or similar tool). . Compiler tool chain, makefiles, linker files. . Power PC microprocessor (MPC5xx, MPC55xx, etc.) software development experience. . Understand product Software Architecture and design patterns .
