Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Client is looking for qualified individual for SAP Insurance module
configuration. Working in the Distribution Systems area of ISO, this is an
opportunity to support critical business applications for client. The
individual will participate in Specification development and configuration
of Insurance modules such as FS-CD (Collections and Disbursements), FS-ICM
(Compensation) and HR (relationships).
Experience in HR or FI Configuration a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Configure SAP FS-CD , FS-ICM, HR modules as required (master data, org
management)
- Provide production support as required to include upgrades, fixes, and
enhancements
- Assist in consultation and participate in Distribution Systems projects
to involve providing guidance on functional and technical issues
- Involvement in design discussions, review of blueprints, providing of
estimates
- Assist in providing quality architectural direction and design to
projects.
- Identify risks and mitigation strategies in a timely fashion
- Assist in identifying and mitigating operational risks
- Be involved with and assist with proactive identification of strategic
technologies and business directions and challenges.
- Research and prepare for the use of new modules for upcoming projects
- Consult with the business leaders and staff to understand process and
maintenance
- Participate in system analysis and design for distribution FS-CD ,
FS-ICM, HR related projects and upgrades
- Application testing of periodic vendor supplied maintenance packages
and releases
- Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and adhere to quality
control processes and principles
- Provide appropriate training in the use of the FS-CD modules to
business and technical staff
Requirements:
- SAP configuration experience to include FS-CD or HR (master data, org
management)
- Strong system analytical, conceptual, and trouble shooting skills
- Knowledge of best practices regarding system and application testing
and analysis
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and team skills and ability
to interact positively with peers and managers
- Some design and blueprinting experience
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Adapts quickly to new technology in a changing and fast paced
environment
