- Must have 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle 8i/9i/10g/11g
database in Data Warehouse and Online databases.
- Extensive knowledge in Oracle RAC Extensive knowledge in ASM
- Extensive knowledge in Oracle 8i/9i/10g database and good knowledge and
familiarity with 11g and its new features
- Extensive knowledge in RMAN, Datapump, Import/Export, Oracle
Partitioning, Data Guard, Oracle Grid Control & EM, Real Application Testing
- Expertise with performance turning using AWR, STATSPACK, EXPLAIN PLAN,
TKPROF
- Good knowledge in Linux, Unix and Windows 2000/2003 operating systems.
- Good knowledge in Data Modeling, ERWIN, Informatica (ETL), OBIEE &
Control-M tools.
- Working knowledge with EMC storage technology.
- Good knowledge with Unix/Linux scripting (Shell, PERL, AWK) 11.
Experience with database migration from Unix to Linux will be added
advantage
