Websphere Portal Developer/Architect Location: Pleasanton, CA Length: 12 month Contract (no conversion) Face to face might be required so see if you can get locals or candidate goes on his expenses This Web Developer position will be part of a scrum development team that is enhancing a feature set on the company web site. The consultant will be asked to design, develop and unit test components in a highly iterative and agile manner. Aside from solid web development skills, the candidate filling this position must have experience with test driven develop (TDD) techniques and have the demeanor and communication skills required for pair programming. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience working in a Scrum or agile environment. * Strong interpersonal, influencing and communications skills. * Open source development tools, e.g. Subversion, Maven, CruiseControl, ANT. * SOA and Enterprise Service Bus. * JSR 168/286 and WSRP. * J2EE * SOAP/Web Services/WS-I. * Web Application Security and single sign on technologies. * Rational Application Developer or Eclipse. * Agile development methodologies. * Borland Together or other Design tools. * Oracle and Database Design. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Websphere Portal Experience, * 10+ years of industry experience, good communication, able to work well in a team environment.
