" The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for defining and driving new features from high level concept through design and delivery. This involves working with stakeholders throughout the organization to translate business objectives into functional requirements while also satisfying performance, scalability, and reliability requirements. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of technology as well as the ability and skill to negotiate and affect change. The Senior Program Manager must also be able to lead large programs and various size projects to meet the business objectives stated. The Senior Program Manager must be able to think creatively in order to solve complex business and technology problems and must be able to plan, execute, and perform at high levels while influencing the organization to improve the delivering methods and processes. This individual will also be responsible for defining and implementing effective metrics and reporting to demonstrate business value and delivery effectiveness. This role requires minimal direct supervision; however, it requires a high level of collaboration as the Senior Program Manager will work as a liaison between business and development teams. Primary Duties - Requirements Gathering - Conducts meetings with business owners and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. - Functional Planning - Works closely with business owners to define appropriate business rules and detailed Use Cases. - Program Analysis - Defines and documents the scope of a program, and identify program goals and objectives. - Design Support - Works with Information Architects and Technical Leads to assist in User Interface design, functional rule definition, Usability studies, and system design. - Project and Program Management -Leads project and program initiatives and ensures compliance to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) requirements. - Maintains and communicates status to all stakeholders of project/program roadmaps. - Provides 'thought leadership' in solving business and technology problems and proposes strategic recommendations to maintain innovative and competitive advantage. - Works with cross functional teams to drive the implementation of new features as well as to resolve operational issues. - Works with development team to obtain cost estimates and to provide issue and risk identification - Provides direction and input into technical designs to ensure solutions developed are consistent with strategic business and technical roadmaps. - Coordinates and oversees third party team members as required. * ******************** ------------------------------ ABOUT CARESOFT: Headquartered in Edison NJ, Caresoft is a leader in Custom Software Development, IT Staff Augmentation and Outsourced QA Services.
