Job Specs: I need a CRM BW consultant for SAIC. Must be us citizen or green card *1.0** **Description of Project:* Support the BI7.0 Production environment and transition our current BW 3.1 reports to BI7.0. *2.0 Project Objectives*** SAIC's goal is modify exiting BW3.1 reports to BI7.0 and utilize new features provided in BI7.0 to enhance the existing reports as well as implement new reports. *3.0 Scope of Project* Apart from the work to be performed by the SAIC team, this section outlines the work to be performed by external consultants. Scope of work for consultants will specifically include: · Evaluate SAIC's BI 7.0 environment and plan the migration from BW3.x reporting tools to BI7.0 reporting tools. · Support SAIC team Implementing Report to Report interfaces, Report broadcasting functionality. · Support SAIC team implementing multi-providers, Remodeling Info providers. · Support the SAIC team developing and testing new reports and enhancement of existing reports · Peer review and unit testing of assigned development work. · Create technical specifications, update technical specifications · Create or modify other project documentation as identified by the SAIC team. · Support creating and modifying test scripts and perform testing tasks for development and/or configuration work done by the SAIC team or consultant. · Know-how transfer to SAIC team. BW Consultant Job Description: We are looking for a skilled SAP BI developer to help support the BI7.0 Production environment and transition our current BW 3.1 reports to BI7.0. In addition, we are looking to benefit from the new features included in BI7.0, including Remodeling Info providers, Report to Report interface capability, report broadcasting, Print to PDF/Excel etc.. You will be part of a team that provides on going support to keep the systems running and adding new functionality to meet the business requirements. This is an opportunity to provide expertise in troubleshooting system and solution issues and bring current team up to speed on BI7.0 functionality. Experience in working with a diverse and integrated team consisting of application developer's onshore/offshore, technical business users and business analysts is required. The individual will be required to interact with business owners and business analysts to define and analyze reporting and analytic requirements and work with offshore developers to implement new reports and enhance existing reports utilizing new features from BI7.0. The individual will also be responsible for providing knowledge transfer to the internal team throughout the development with emphasis on module functionality, configuration, best practices, testing procedures, and all aspects of SAP BI. Job Requirements: Must have 5+ years of strong SAP BW/BI, Knowledge and experience in working with SAP BW & SAP NW BI 7.0 in specific is required, must have a strong foundation in data warehousing concepts including data modeling, multi-providers, ETL, query and report design. Strong experience with Transfer Rule routines, Formula Builder, Update rule routines, Transformations and DTP processes is required. Strong Understanding and application of the performance tuning techniques - for data load as well as reporting performance issues is required. Good knowledge/experience of BW/BI support activities involving data loads and the required troubleshooting. Experience with loading data using SAP CRM with an emphasis on Opportunity Management and Account Management is required. Excellent understanding of SAP database structures and core functionality is required. Good analytical problem solving and communication skills. Experience with SAP BI Reporting environment with the frond end tools- Query Designer, BEx Analyzer, BEx Web Analyzer, Web Application Designer and Report Designer is required. Good Understanding of Portal is required Desired Skills: Experience with BW upgrade from 3.5 to BI7.0, Experience with loading SAP R3 4.7 data with an emphasis on MM/FICO and non SAP flat files and DB connect to extract data from non-SAP source systems data into BW.
