Local candidates only Senior Automation/Developer = Senior QA San Francisco, CA 18 months contract Rate: DOE Required skills and Experience . Demonstrate strong understanding of enterprise application. . At least 3 years experience in automation testing of large scale web applications (web portal is preferable) . Strong knowledge of HP automation tools and languages. . Understanding of automation framework. . Working experience with one of computer languages like C/C++, Java, JavaScript, VBScript. . Working knowledge of XML, HTML, CSS, and Ajax. . Good understandings of application servers like Weblogic, Websphere etc. . 2 years experience of testing and using RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MS Access. . Ability to manipulate with data stored in relational databases using SQL as well as working experience with databases as a backend for automation test scripts. . Proficient in creating positive/negative test approach. . Proficient in research in risk analysis. . Collaborated with development to implement standard build and test procedures. . Analysis of back-end/transactional systems. . Prior Programming experience is a plus. . Experience with developing / working on Automation frameworks would be preferred. Knowledge of: . Quality assurance practices and procedures. . Automation Tools: QTP 9.1, 9.2 with .NET add-in MS VBScript debugger, Rational Clear Quest 2003, HP Quality Center 9.2 . Web and Application Servers: webMethods Integration Server 6.1, webMethods Broker 6.1, Tomcat (Open Source), Weblogic Portal 7.1, 8.1 IIE 5.0 . RDBMS & Tools: MySql (Open Source), SQL Navigator 4.4, Source Control, WinCVS 1.3.17.2 client (Open Source) WinMerge (File comparing tool) (Open Source) . Python 2.3 . Product testing standards. Ability to: . Execute and write/maintain automation test scripts. . Thoroughly analyze and report automation test results. . Manipulate with data stored in relational databases using SQL as well as working experience with databases as a backend for automation test . scripts. . Produce written documents with clearly organized thoughts using proper English sentence construction, punctuation, and grammar. . Ability to work independently and drive results and excellent knowledge management . Handle a great variety of tasks simultaneously and work under pressure. . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills . Ability to grasp interactions of large, complex software environments. . Ability to lead debugging of issues in large, complex software systems. . Ability to deal with a dynamically changing environment and with ambiguity.
